Your Role and Responsibilities
As WAS, MQ & IIB Administrator, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

Responsibilities
WebSphere MQ Administration experience on UNIX platforms.
Fixpack installations and version upgrades of WebSphere MQ.
Should be strong in using MQSC and PCF commands.
Should be strong in Distributed Queue Management.
Should be strong in MQ channel configuration using different transmission protocols.
Should have experience with MQ Clusters.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, system and performance tuning skills.
Should be able to manage, configure and monitor MQ Listeners, Command Servers, Channel initiators, Trigger Monitors, MQ Log files & Dead Letter Queues.
Should be strong with MQ Client applications & MQ client configuration.
Able to setup security for WebSphere MQ queues & other objects for data access and for administration using role-based security.
Proficient in SSL Configuration on WebSphere MQ.
Must be proficient in the writing/editing of UNIX shell scripts.
Programming experience with MQ API’s – JMS, C/C++/C#/Java – is a plus.
Managing the health of Integration Node
Managing the health of Integration Servers
Manage the resource used by integration servers and integration nodes
Manage the deployment of BAR file using command line, Web User interface and IBM App Connect Toolkit
Debugging skills to review the admin log
Backup and restoration of integration nodes and associated integration servers
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 3+ years in IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM App Connect (IIB) install, configure etc.
Demonstrable experience in Support, designing, troubleshooting of above technology
Ability to articulate best practices during implementation
Demonstrated experience in handling day-to-day Operation, Alert, Incident support, Migration and break-fix support
Willingness to work in nights shifts or support 24 x 7 Coverage as per the Business needs
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
This role will require you to be hands on technical.
This role will require you work both as individual contributor or in a team of experienced Application Server Administrators and support 24X7X365 operations, as the requirement may be.
As this is a client facing role, there will be interaction with the clients.
