Job description

Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing Servers, network infrastructure & End Point devices
• Building and adherence to IT Policies
• Liaising with various vendors including vendor selection and solutioning, vendor performance management and development of KPIs and milestones
• The role includes configuration, maintenance, support and optimization of Hardware and software assets.
• Ensure compliance of IT assets with security guidelines, managing back-ups and restoration
• Upkeeping and monitoring of Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• End point management of laptops and other hardware
• This role will have a team of specialists reporting to it so mentoring team members, ensuring high performance output and adherence to local guidelines will be a key growth component for this position.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate or post-graduate education in engineering or IT with overall 18+ years of experience
• Experience in managing IT infrastructure
• Solid experience in working in ITIL and ITSM processes
• Experience in working within Cloud Infrastructure and implementation specifically MS Azure
• Vendor management experience
• Critical thinking, problem solving skills, negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of driving innovation and continuous improvement in insurance operations.
