General Summary
Act as an intermediary between internal customers and the IT department to collect, clarify, and document requirements from which solutions are either developed or procured.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to elicit and analyze business requirements, and then decompose them into user and functional requirements
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to capture the As-Is and the To-Be business processes
Work with your project teammates to author system documents required for software validation, such as the system overview, risk profile, business requirements, system requirements, and user acceptance test cases
Assist with the evaluation of new or updated products and services
Participate in design sessions and provide input to the software solution
Translate non-technical requirements into the system requirements needed for software delivery
Document business needs, issues, and challenges using a variety of analytical skills, techniques, and resources
Serve as a liaison between users, IT team members, quality assurance (validation), and third-party vendors
Provide input into the development of training materials for end users
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or substantial work experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant job experience (5 years preferred)
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and software development methodologies
Demonstrated knowledge and application of business analysis principles
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
Effective time management skills
Strong Business Analysis skills to document user requirements
Identify unstated end user needs by analyzing user requirements and identifying gaps
Quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures of varying complexity
Work independently within a strong team environment
Prioritize and manage projects/tasks
