Key functional area:
1) Windows Servers Administration
2) Ensure smooth implementation and function of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment
3) Support organization level digitization of processes and infrastructure
4) Supporting and Administrating Active Directory and Exchange Server
5) Installation and configuration of Windows based operating systems
6) Knowledge of different operating systems (Microsoft, Unix, Linux, etc.)
7) Installation and configuration of Microsoft office
8) Active Directory (DNS, DHCP), User group policies creation and modification
9) Regular data and mail backup of MS outlook
10) Network setting for TCP/IP and Internet setup
11) Provide technical resource in ongoing/new projects
12) Configure and manage of laptops and desktops
13) Knowledge of Microsoft Window Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, File Server Access, Raid Controller, Backup, Group Policy, Virtualization, switches
14) Essential Office network setup and administration experience
Key responsibilities:
1) Handling and managing the Engineering software requirements in the company, mainly CAD software. (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD etc.)
2) IT Vendor management for existing and new requirements
3) Handling inhouse team of IT engineers to ensure smooth function
4) Configuration and set-up of all new server systems required internally for the company’s activities
5) Firewall administration, anti-virus updates and overall responsibility for company IT security
6) Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights
7) Manage all network hardware and equipment including routers, switches, and hubs
8) Ensure network connectivity of all employees in WFH/ office environment
9) Maintaining IT compliance across department and company
10) Support users in the use of IT infrastructure by providing necessary training and advice
11) Solve technical systems problems quickly and automate processes
Requirements
Job Position: Desktop Support Engineer
Education: Any IT Graduate (Must have Microsoft Windows certification, Cloud technology)
Experience: 6-9 Years
Domain Knowledge: IT System Management, Server Management, VDI & Digital work ecosystem knowlege
Software Skills: M icrosoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPE)/ Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification
