Your Opportunity
Informatica is looking for a talented and energetic Senior Solutions Engineer Manager, to be based in our Bangalore, India office. As Informatica continues its “cloud-only” journey the role of IT must evolve to support our business processes to build, sell, or support Informatica products in a multi-cloud environment. As a solutions engineer for the India/APAC region, and member of the Business Engagement team, you’ll be part of Informatica’s worldwide IT Operations organization, helping our key business partners in R&D, CloudTrust, GCS, and Pre-Sales succeed with state of the art IT solutions.
Areas of responsibility include leveraging the entire IT Operations service portfolio (multi-cloud virtualization and containerization, hosting, high speed networking, configuration management, ITSM practices) to drive greater business engagement. You will partner with the Senior Engagement Manager to participate in business interlock meetings, provide technical knowledge and support, help translate business requirements into IT technical requirements, and act as the glue between IT Operations and our business partners.

The candidate will be skilled at managing multiple work streams simultaneously, across multiple technologies and multiple customers.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and maintain long-term working relationships with key stakeholders to understand evolving business issues and requirements, understand upstream and downstream implications and dependencies, ensuring key solutions are executed and properly coordinated
Pro-actively identify innovative, emerging, and creative solutions to meet business challenges
Participate in regular interlock meetings with key business unit leaders, gather feedback, and translate any business needs into IT requirements
Develop wireframes, workflows, or architecture diagrams illustrating business needs and requirements
Work with Engagement Managers and IT Product Managers in multiple time zones to prioritize business work requests
Validate any proposed solutions and architectures will meet business requirements
Professional/Academic Experience:
5+ years in IT Operations or sales or solution engineering
2+ years in DevOps preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or equivalent experience
Required Skills:
Strong technical background in multiple IT Operations disciplines – i.e. database administration, configuration management, systems engineering (Windows/Linux), networking, enterprise storage, or cloud engineering preferred
Good understanding of hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) architecture and deployment of instances within them
Proficient at project tracking through Jira, updating tasks and issues,
Technical knowledge of IT supported systems and applications (Morpheus, VMWare, Kurbernetes)
Working knowledge of software development lifecycles (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with team members and audiences of all levels of management and technical stakeholders
Analytical approach with excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational, research and time management skills
Highly energetic, self-motivated, quick learner with the ability to work independently
Proficient at analysing, building, and presenting proposals for technical solutions that solve business problems
Ability to handle pressure situations with clarity, focus and professionalism
