We are oneAPI Customer Engineering team, a passionate and dynamic group focused on success of oneAPI on heterogenous platform. We are seeking for a Software Technical Consulting Engineer (STCE) to join the group who is passionate team player eager to learn new technologies, develop application, conduct competitive performance analysis and optimization across various architectures. As a STCE, you will provide software and hardware input and contribute to parallel programming infrastructure for Intel’s GPUs and CPUs, accelerators, and competitive architectures. Your tasks as a Software Technical Consulting Engineer may include: Workload/benchmark development spanning across various domains (ML/DL, Vision, HPC, Data analytics, cloud, graphics, media). Development in multiple parallel programming languages (OpenCL, OpenMP, DPC++, among others). Performance analysis and characterizations of workloads, compilers and other tools. Usage of various performance tools in analysis, optimizations, performance projections, simulations and traces, competitive performance analysis. Architecture input for future Intel products (Hardware and Software) using DPC++ workloads. STCE’s may also engaged in training and onboarding customers on oneAPI, may partner with the sales and BMD team and participate in customer visits. Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/ classes/ research and/or relevant previous job and or internship experiences. Minimum Qualifications: 1) Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years relevant experience or PhD. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics or Physics or computational science or other relevant technical engineering discipline. 2) Two or more years with the following technical skills: a) Engineering working experience with C/C++ or Fortran languages. b) In-depth experience with one or more parallel programming technologies such as OpenCL, SYCL, CUDA, OpenMP, MPI, native threads, Intel Threading Building Blocks, Coarrays, etc. c) Familiarity with Operating Systems, Computer Architecture (CPU/GPU architectures) and Software Optimization Preferred Qualifications: a) Domain expertise in at least one of the following areas: HPC, ML/DL, Data Analytics, Cloud, Media, Vision, Graphics b) Enterprise computing or Client Service Providers (CSP) or Embedded/IOT. e) Experience with Performance characterizations and optimizations f) Experience with Performance tools g) Experience with Performance benchmarking, projections, performance estimations, analysis. experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.Inside this Business Group

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
