Qualifications
You should possess a Master of Science (or Technology/Engineering) degree in Engineering or Computer Science with three to seven years of related communications software design, software solution architecture/development and IA Processor and Chipset software validation experience. Additional qualifications include: – Fundamental understanding of Intel Architecture Processors, Software and how these can be applied to develop Edge Platform Solutions – Good understanding of cloud native infrastructure and orchestration software such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, Python, Ansible/Helm scripting etc – In-depth knowledge of communications platforms software/hardware architecture and networking protocols along with an understanding of network and enterprise/IoT edge requirements as well as SDN and NFV technologies – Experience interfacing with customers/end-users and designing/developing joint solutions with customer engineering teams – Fundamental understanding of Intel Platform/Edge Technologies such as OpenNESS, Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK), Quick Assist Technology (QAT), acceleration technologies etc – Understanding and experience with edge capabilities including AI/ML and visual analytics, key IoT products such as OpenVINO, EII and accelerators etc – Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills. Good interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Willingness to travel In addition to these, knowledge of Linux driver and application development in kernel and user space is a plus

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
