Desired Qualification + Experience

Graduate degree in electrical engineering or power systems from Tier 1 institute (IIT, NIT, BITS) and preferably an MBA/Master’s degree in power-related sector from Tier 1 institute (IIM, ISB, global institutes) with a total experience of 17-22 years

1 – 2 years’ experience with modern metering technologies and associated network interconnect technologies

3 – 5 years of experience in metering companies on product development or solution architecture

Responsibilities:
Key liaison for stakeholder management of technical partnerships

Responsible for all technical aspects required in implementation of the contracts procured by the SPV

Providing solutions to ensure smooth roll-out and integration across the entire infrastructure along with existing legacy systems of DISCOMS.

Monitoring the technical aspects of the infrastructure post implementation for the O&M period

Responsible for all cyber security aspects during implementation and post implementation

Ensuring the compliance with all relevant standards / specifications for the sector

Assessment of the suitability of the technology being used for contracts prior to them being procured by SPV

Assessment of the technology to be selected for future contracts depending on target geographies

Identification and addition of value-added services to existing solution

Reporting to the CTO of Smart Meter SPV, supporting the CTO in his/her initiatives
