You will be part of our global IT organization and will be joining a global, leading technology, remote support team responsible for leading and mentoring a team of energetic IT infrastructure analysts resolving complex issues every day for internal customers. Itron IT provides support for all internal IT systems and applications issues in Itron. IT Operations team is responsible for providing remote support, including end-user support, business systems (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Windows / Linux servers, Network issues, AD issues, Oracle EBS, Oracle cloud, Salesforce, Apttus etc), Collaboration tools and systems, networking, and systems management among many other technical services. The support provided by this team will have a global reach and support all Itron thousands of employees. Qualification / Skills Requirements:
Skill Sets:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Management Space.
Administer, operate, and maintain patch management environment which is a mix of windows and non-windows operating systems.
Test and release of patches and software’s in a global environment by adhering to change management process
Tracking, reporting and remediate the failed/non-compliant systems of deployments
Familiarity with Ivanti (Our Patch Management system) and Qualys (Security reporting tool) is a plus
Working knowledge of Virtual Architecture (VMWare and Nutanix)
Some working knowledge of SAN environments. Design, Administration and Support
Support the technical requirements of existing monitoring services, while executing business plan objectives to achieve strategic goals
Contribute to the development of best in class, leading monitoring systems and tooling capability
ITIL awareness with project management skills. Strong skills in enterprise monitoring technologies
Experience in the tools like ServiceNow, and monitoring systems and strong understanding of SLA’s
Working with Incident, Change, and Problem management to define and implement processes.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing excellence in customer service support, diagnosis, replication, resolving technical issues of simple, complex, and critical service requests at enterprise Infrastructure Landscape. The focus of this position is to provide Customer Service on Infrastructure space and to ultimately drive complete and total resolution of each issue reported by Itron employees and users.
Working with internal Itron stakeholders for supporting and operations across all business units and IT teams
Review and work on documenting issues, resolutions, and root cause analysis.
Responding to critical escalations, from the business users, problem analysis and change implementation.
Provide / Review root cause Analysis (RCA) to the recurring problems and resolution.
Ability to work with team members and provide clarity / work around for complex business issues and escalations.
Contribute to building knowledge base for issue resolution and commonly asked questions/issues.
Build automation and scripts to proactively identify issues, job failures and resolving those.
Working with the team members to resolve all issues for the reported incidents, SR, and Change Requests.
Review and execute organization level patching schedules and ensure systems are up to date with latest patch set levels as per organization IT policies.
Review and provide solutions to all Infrastructure related issues reported.
Build and deliver servers, VM’s, cloud infrastructure assets on demand.
Work towards reduction MTF and MTTR concerning the IT infrastructure.
Come out with process improvement plans and Service improvement initiatives to improve existing Operations efficiency.
Flexible to work in different shift timings and managing teams in different shifts
Should have experience and knowledge to work with OEM vendors to pursue required support to resolve complex issues at times.
Education: BE, BTech, MCA or equivalent from recognized University. Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.
