US IT recruiter duties and responsibilities:
· Establish contact with various employment agencies to find suitable candidates for the IT job
· Formulate advertisements and notices to be put up in classified websites and social media.
· Study the resumes and CVs that were sent by applicants
· Screen through the resumes and shortlist candidates for interview
· If large number of applications are received, then plan and conduct telephonic interviews
· Make arrangements for the final interview
· Gauge the capabilities of candidates by keenly observing and perceiving various aspects of their personality and skills
· Maintain strong links with employment agencies and other sources which can get them good candidates
· Formulating interview call, selection and rejection letters
· Ensure that details of all candidates are documented in an organized manner
· Submit the internally selected candidates to various agencies for staffing.
Establish and maintain relationships between the employers, stake holders and candidates. Experience in recruiting US Citizens and Green Card holders. Knowledgeable about different US work Visas and Familiarity with different US Tax terms is required (1099/W2/Corp-Corp).
