About the team

We are seeking an IT Security analyst with the passion and experience necessary to deploy, administer and maintain Palo alto next generation firewalls across the FIS environment. The successful candidate will work directly with internal security teams at FIS.

What you will be doing

As a member of the Network Security team, this team member will be accountable for all aspects of Deployment and administration of Palo Alto related activities.

Experience within a Network security engineering, performing Network analysis, design, Implementing, capacity planning with focus on performance tuning and support of large Networks.

Advance Knowledge on configuring Palo alto Firewalls which includes PA 3000, PA 5000, and PA 7000 series. Having expertise on Palo alto firewall with high skills in configuration, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Experience in configuring security policies including NAT/PAT, Global protect VPN and ACL’s.

Implemented Zone Based Firewall, security Profiles and Security Rules on the Palo Alto Firewall.

Understanding of common cyber-attack techniques and methods, to include, but not limited to, Social Engineering, SPAM and Phishing, malicious software, website defacement, and other attack techniques.

Recognize trends and similar attack techniques to discover larger security events and incidents.

Develop automation capabilities to reduce infrastructure complexity and manual effort.

Proactive and passionate mindset with an inquisitive nature to understand the customer’s environment in an approachable manner.

Can propose alternative solutions to a problem whilst working collaboratively with other team members.

Flexible approach to working hours – after hours support during delivery.

Understanding of ITIL concepts to include Incident and change management best practices

What you bring:
3+ years of experience in Network Security.

Deep working knowledge of networking concepts: OSI, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, IRC, RPC, DNS etc.

Experience in configuring protocols like TCP/IP, Routing Protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, IGRP and EIGRP), PPP, PPTP and L2TP and knowledge of IPv4 & IPv6 addressing and Subnetting.

Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills

Excellent verbal written & communication skills

Excellent inter-personal and teamwork skills

Self-driven, proactive, hardworking, team-player with a good sense of responsibility

PCCSA, PCNSA, PCNSE

Firepower and Cisco ASA

Full Time University Degree – BTECH, BE or MS / MCA in Information Security, Computer Science, or Information Technology
