Job Summary: The Managed IT Support Team Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a team of IT professionals who provide managed IT services to clients. They will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all clients receive high-quality, timely, and effective technical support. The Managed IT Support Team Lead will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of IT services.

Roles and Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of IT support professionals, including setting performance goals, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
Primary Job Requirement – Client Desktop support, Linux and Windows server Administration, Database administration SQL and NoSQL strong skills in Networking, infrastructure troubleshooting, cloud and data management. Independent hands on skill set to support and lead a team of Managed IT folks.
Key Job Role – Day to Day infrastructure Operations management, Database and server management, maintenance, support for remote team. Passionate to solve support tickets and independently handle servers and Clients.
Technical Skill set
Independently support windows and Linux server, Application server and Database servers with 6+ years of experience in database, server management and support.
6+ years of Strong Experience in handling windows servers, networking and troubleshooting debugging server and network issues
8+years of Operation experience in solving various technical tickets and problems. Identifying root cause analysis and never give up attitude to solve tickets
Strong ability and Experience with databases, networks and infrastructure troubleshooting, design, and implementation.Excellent ability to handle server applications and debug application specific issues
Linux and Cloud experience is required for this job role. Ability to learn more cloud skills is required and perform operation and maintenance tasks. Scripting skills and basic system programming experience is required
Management Sill Set
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all IT support-related issues. Ensure that the team maintains accurate records of all client interactions and service requests.
Manage the team’s workload and prioritize tasks to ensure that all client requests are addressed in a timely and effective manner. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that the team remains current and relevant.
Work with other departments, such as sales and engineering, to ensure that all client needs are met and that service delivery is seamless.
Develop and implement IT support policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure that the team delivers high-quality services.
Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate the team’s performance and identify areas for improvement.
Identify opportunities to enhance the team’s capabilities and improve service delivery. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new team members as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Stong relevant work experience in supporting and managing Windows and Linux systems and cloud.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
Qualifications and Education: Include qualifications and education that show expertise in Windows and Linux, such as certifications like Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
Technical Skills: Highlight specific technical skills related to Windows and Linux, such as knowledge of virtualization, networking, and storage technologies.
