Job Summary:The Managed IT Support Team Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a team of IT professionals who provide managed IT services to clients. They will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that all clients receive high-quality, timely, and effective technical support. The Managed IT Support Team Lead will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of IT services.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of IT support professionals, including setting performance goals, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all IT support-related issues.
Manage the team’s workload and prioritize tasks to ensure that all client requests are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Work with other departments, such as sales and engineering, to ensure that all client needs are met and that service delivery is seamless.
Develop and implement IT support policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure that the team delivers high-quality services.
Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate the team’s performance and identify areas for improvement.
Identify opportunities to enhance the team’s capabilities and improve service delivery.
Ensure that the team maintains accurate records of all client interactions and service requests.
Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new team members as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that the team remains current and relevant.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Qualifications and Education: Include qualifications and education that show expertise in Windows and Linux, such as certifications like Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
Technical Skills: Highlight specific technical skills related to Windows and Linux, such as knowledge of virtualization, networking, and storage technologies.
Experience: Emphasize any relevant work experience in supporting and managing Windows and Linux systems. This could include experience with operating system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, as well as experience with server and workstation hardware.
