Key Accountabilities
Facilitate the leadership vision around expanding the globalD2Cplatform by taking a platform approach to architecture and implementation.
Create reusable components and servicesusing Salesforce Commerce Cloud and related technologiesto drive the business outcomes and theglobalplatform vision.
Promote reuse of technology implementations by architecting and implementing reusable APIs/microservices, frameworks and technology abstractionsacross regions and markets.
Provide technology leadership for implementationof new technology platform / capabilities,byperformingdesign reviews,code walkthroughs / review toensure adherence tostandards and security guidelines.
Collaborate with other regional architects and help in architecting and providing technical oversight to activate regional SFCC headless implementations as and when needed.
Deliver solution blueprints including, but not limited to application diagrams, physical architecture, process diagrams, systems maps, service interfaces, technical interfaces, data modeling, integration planning and detailed build estimates.
Provide technical due diligence of software products and platforms. Create technical assessments, based on criteria including cost, security, vendor fit, alignment to objectives, reliability, and scalability
Perform root-cause analysis of application related incidents andhelp improve the status quo through innovative solutions.
Drive improvements in engineering practices to optimize cost and quality
Maintain and evolvecultural awareness, act with global fluency. Adopta test and learn, fail fast mindset with calculated risk taking.
Actas a disruptive change agent fluidly moving back and forth between transformation initiatives and day-to-day business as usual. Delivers right mix of operations, delivery, strategy, and innovation.
Provide technical direction to engineers, manage architectural risks, solutioning at enterprise level. Coach and mentor engineers as they learn to implement on Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Coordinate and lead engagements with vendors/partners as they relate to integration, evaluation, design, and delivery of business capabilities.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and help in the resolution of technical problems related to SFCC applications/related integrations and for the entire ecommerce ecosystem. Ability to fix issues and code as needed.
Key Qualifications and Experiences
A degree in computer science or equivalent.
Functional background of CPG / retail businessis a plus.
Strong SDLC experience includingAgile is required.
Strong facilitation, leadership, creative thinking, and collaboration skills required. Must display resiliency and the ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Experience working with virtual teams across time zones.
Technical and development experience:
Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in the architecture,design,development and implementation of large-scaleweb and mobileapplications for consumers adhering to non-functional requirements like security, reliability, scalability and availability standards.
4+ years ofexperienceinimplementingeCommerce applicationsusingSalesforce.CommerceCloud(SFCC)and/orDemandwareis required.At leastthe lasttwo years of experienceis expected to bein SalesforceCommerce Cloud.
Good working knowledge on the Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
Hands on experience with build and release management activities like CI/CDusing Jenkins, Azure DevOps is required.
Experience inintegratingecommerce storeswith external payment gateways and such otherthird-partyeCommerce service providers is a must.Also, understanding of MOR, SOR etc. is an advantage.
Good understanding of data privacy and data protection regulationslike GDPR, CCPAis desired.
StrongexperienceinAPI’s (SOAP/REST) and database technologiesis expected.
Experience with front end developmenttechnologies(HTML5, CSS,JQuery, ISML).
Experience working with virtual teams across time zones.
Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory
