POSITION NAME: Finance System Analyst

DIVISION OR CORPORATE FUNCTION: Finance & Procurement

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Finance System Analyst serves as a liaison between the business and IT technical teams and technology providers. The role will support the Finance Capability in the implementation of various projects supporting business transformation and ongoing maintenance of several existing solutions

• DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide business analysis, implementation, and support assistance of various systems.
• Be part of multiple project teams collaborating across a series of exciting transformation projects, ensuring that deliverables are aligned to prioritized requirements and business needs.
• Challenge the business assumptions so that requirements and delivered solutions meet current/future needs.
• Work closely with the Project Management team to highlight issues, risks, and support delivering to the project deadlines.
• Become a subject matter expert for the Finance capability; understanding the accounting and finance global processes and their dependencies and impacts across the enterprise.
• Produce design documents, functional specifications, and business process maps to facilitate project scoping and initiation.
• Collect, analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements.
• Work with solutions architects to understand and assist in the design of systems integration.
• Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution using analytical skills. Provide timely user support and communications for any system-related issues.
• Review existing business processes to determine where automation / improvements will drive efficiency. Recommend uses of software functionality, design solutions.

SCOPE:
Accounts Payable / Compliance Reporting for Global Business

EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: Bachelor Degree (Preferably in Finance & Accounting)

PREFERRED: Master Degree / Functional IT Consulting Certification

WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:

• At least 4 to 6 years of reporting experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or related Business field of study
• 2+ years of experience in IT BA roles, preferably with emphasis in systems supporting a Finance business area
• Experience in Managing / Delivering IT Implementation projects
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

PREFERRED:

• Experience in multiple ERP systems (S4, Infor, Infinium, Datacap etc.)
• Experience with data analysis/visualization tools beyond Microsoft Excel
• (i.e., Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, Celonis)

PREFERRED:

• Experience in Transitioning Operations (onsite or remote)
• Previous experience in business process mapping, defining system requirements and test scenarios
