Your Role and Responsibilities
Prioritize major incidents based on business impact to the client. Adopt the given technology to meet the drift of customer and business requirements. Set up a medium to large extent office, support data centre services, remote servers, and set up remote site by configuring needed infrastructure. Analyse and research options for collaborates with exiting external systems. Participate in architectural planning for service management and service assurance. Perform solution testing, debugging and refinements to produce the required end-product. Prepare program-level, user-level documentation on an as-needed-basis. Provide and receive technical direction as required to ensure program deadlines are met. Managing Vendor and Customer relationship. Monitor systems performance and ensures compliance with security standards. Enforce ‘drop dead’ time to prevent outage outside of change window. Provide updates / communication to senior management on the status of Citrix support related incidents. Lead daily Operations meetings provided there are no P1 incidents running. Aid with identifying problem management trends
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Professional with 5+ years’ experience as Systems Engineering/Administration, supporting Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 servers and VMware 4.x/5.x/6.
Expertise in installation, configuration and administration of 2008/ 2008 R2 & 2012/2012R2 servers various Platform like Compaq, ,Vxrail, IBM xSeries Installation and Configuration of the ESXi 5.x,6.x and 7.0 Host and VMware VCenter.
Administration of VMware Virtual Center and virtualization services VMware DRS, VMware HA, VMotion and SVMotion.
Using vSphere Hot-add and Hot plug features to dynamically Add vCPU, NIC, USB, HDD and RAM.Hands on backup platforms like EMC AWAMAR and also DATA DOMAIN.
knowledge on configuring hardware iSCSI and NFS storage to VMware ESX (i) hosts from vSphere client.
Experience in configuring VMware CPU and memory shares for virtual machines.
Experience in building VMware virtual machines from templates and CD/ISO image.
Expert in Decommissioning VM’s and Esxi and all Hardware with in Data Center.
Expert in Power Shell scripting,Proficient in handling hardware issues and Data Center Operations.Provided 24/7 On Call production support onsite and remotely on rotation basis.
Implementing and Administration of Active Directory Services, replication, Trust Relationship and Enforcing Domain Group Policy.
Experience with AD Group Policy, GPO, GPP, Users, Domain users and also handled permissions of users, Groups, File shares and Privilege to access LAN and Domain.
Experience in cloning VMs and deploy new virtual machines from clones.
Experience with enterprise backup systems and disaster recovery with SRM.
Excellent skills in patching and hardening 2008 R2 & 2012/2012R2/2016/2019 servers using Windows Update and also by using the staged patches.
Experience in resolving all levels of Severity Tickets, root cause investigations, system outages.
Experience working on Change Management, Request Management and Incident Management in Service Center/Remedy/Maximo/SNOW
