L4B Software Looking for System Administrator at Pune, Maharashtra, India Full Time

L4B Software is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our IT team in Pune.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux and Windows administration, experience with LXC containers, networking expertise, and a solid understanding of Active Directory. This role requires someone detail-oriented, can work independently, and can manage and maintain our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.

At L4B Software you will:

• Manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers, ensuring system availability, performance, and security.
• Administer and manage LXC containers for application deployment and management.
• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Administer Active Directory, including user and group management, GPOs, and AD integration with other systems.
• Perform routine system maintenance, including software updates, patches, and backups.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across all systems.
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any hardware or software issues.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At Least 2 years of experience in system administration or a similar role.
• Linux Administration: Extensive experience in Linux server administration, including LXC container management.
• Networking: Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing.
• Active Directory: Proven experience managing and administering Active Directory environments, including GPOs, user management, and AD-integrated services.
• Windows Administration: Experience in Windows server administration, including roles like DNS, DHCP
• Jenkins: Hands-on experience in installing and troubleshooting Jenkins.
• System Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Ability to monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to optimize system functionality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Nice-to-Have Experience:
• Atlassian Administration: Experience administering Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence.
• Jenkins: Hands-on experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting/Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
