L3 Network & Security Engineer Lead Network Engineers with 5-7 years of experience work within the highly skilled Support Services Team to deliver exceptional Level 3 support. Design, build, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot complex enterprise Networks
Sound knowledge of switching technologies like STP, VRRP, Port Security, Inter VLAN routing, Load balancing etc.
Should have very good understanding and Internal of NW and Security Architecture
Review of network performance against benchmarks and recommendation of solutions to ensure high network availability.
Understanding of networking hardware from vendors like cisco,
Configuration, implementation and troubleshooting experience of all Routing & Switching Protocols.
Experience of installation, configuration & troubleshooting of Cisco Routers, Switches and Firewalls from different Vendors.
WAN Topologies: Identify and correct chronic issues associated with WAN / LAN.
Routing / Switching: Design, Implement or Re-engineer Networks.
Acquire knowledge & provide training to others on new products, technologies and certify. Identify areas for new business potential.
Monitor, troubleshoot, escalate production problems per operations processes affecting the network infrastructure
Experience working projects/ transition, technology Tech refresh and adhoc projects.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
Network Security: Configure & Verify Fortinet Firewalls, F5 – Load Balancers, VPN, IDS, IPS Stonesoft devices hardware and software.
Strong knowledge on all functionalities of VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancer.
Administration of Wireless Controllers and Access Points
Knowledge on Voice Technology
Experience in designing, document of installation, configuration & troubleshooting Voice and Collaboration tool.
Should have hand on experience on Cisco Meeting Server (CMS)
Knowledge about Cisco WebEx on premise and cloud
Good client/Stakeholder management and Status Reporting
Liaise with vendors and 3rd party other IT personnel for problem resolution and documents
Motivated self-starter capable of working in a team environment as well as individually without direct supervision
Good working experience of ITIL processes. CR, SR, RCA creation for P1 tickets.
Create and updating Network Architecture, SOPs etc. for the NW infrastructure, project work, plan and documentations.
Ensuring accurate recording of all cases using the ticketing tool and closing within agreed SLA
Good client/Stakeholder management, Status Reporting and documentations
CCNA, CCIE or equivalent certification in Enterprise Infrastructure, Wireless or data centre would be highly preferable or proven experience of 8+ years in enterprise and data centre technologies’
