What You’ll Do:
LogicMonitor’s IT Systems Engineer owns the design, uptime, stability, security, and performance of all corporate office technology. They will architect and enforce LogicMonitor policies and procedures in relation to the proper use of corporate technology to support scalable, reliable, and automated networks spanning global offices, a physical data center, and Amazon Web Services.
Here’s a closer look at this key role:
Play critical role in creation and support of all Information Technology infrastructure
Manage and Administer Active Directory; provide guidance and improvements for future of AD within LogicMonitor
Manage India IT team
Architect and administer Atlasssian tools JIRA and Confluence. Advise on and manage future of minimized downtime using a load balancer and cluster with datacenter edition
Setup and administer SSO (Okta) for company SaaS tools; advise and architect solutions for more automated workflows around user management
Administer docker and centOS servers
Architect and manage network infrastructure along with IT Engineering team
Be the gatekeeper for company tools making sure tools brought into the tech stack have a clear purpose and access is provisioned in a smart and automated manner
Work closely with the Support and Infrastructure teams as a mentor and escalation point.
Contribute to business continuity planning by creating runbooks and assist in the event of outages
Ensure documentation is created and updated for infrastructure
Provide remote support for other offices & be available for global offices in the case of an emergency
Maintain high standards in organization and cleanliness of our server rooms.
Contribute to LogicMonitor AV needs as needed (e.g. webinars, company wide trainings, sales meetings, etc)
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in technical field desired or equivalent experience
9+ years experience in information technology in a global high-tech environment
3+ years experience providing advice and support to business level IT decisions
3+ years experience managing people
Experience designing, implementing, and automating infrastructure within Amazon AWS, MS Azure, and/or GCP
Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure from an IAM and administration standpoint
Solid fundamental networking knowledge (routers, switches, wireless, VPNs, firewalls, etc)
Experience with Linux operating systems, including syslog and application hosting
Experience automating systems and services
High level understanding of ITIL v4 and change management
Expert problem solver and communicator
