System Administrator
The System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software for all Corporate IT systems and endpoints. This individual will be responsible to provide phone, email, chat, and remote support to global users as well as work with the Corporate IT team on various projects and tasks.
Maintenance of Windows and Mac OS environment, including administration and troubleshooting of Windows servers, storage management, backups, system documentation and implementation of new hardware/software. Telecommunications such as network devices, telephony system, video conference, MDM and other peripheral device implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Work with team/independently to implement new systems, applications, or changes to the environment as per business need. Liaison with global IT team to support all global offices. As part of this role, the Systems Administrator will have Helpdesk responsibilities, in addition to system support. The candidate will also be responsible for managing and completing the assigned departmental IT projects.
Requirements
Job qualifications & Professional skills:
2-3 years of Windows 2016 Server Administration, Active Directory, Office 365 and Exchange Online administration.
2+ years of experience of supporting and working with US and UK users
1+ year of hands-on experience with VMware virtualization on Windows technology.
Working knowledge of IIS and Microsoft networking (TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS).
Microsoft, AWS, and VMware certification would be highly desired.
Experience supporting cloud-based tools like Salesforce, RingCentral, Microsoft Teams and other enterprise applications
Experience working in a helpdesk ticketing system.
Excellent fundamental problem solving and analytical skills.
Candidate will be required to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a Team, willing to learn and share knowledge.

Linux experience
NetApp Storage experience

Key role interactions:
The Windows Systems Administrator position will interact with all LRN teams globally for supporting internal applications as well as providing IT support for Tier 1-2 issues. This position will work as part of Global IT team. The role will support and manage technology needs of global LRN offices. The nature of the work is technical and business oriented, providing support to the users, as well as day-to-day administration of local and remote IT infrastructure.
The successful candidate will possess a high level of customer service skills and display an eagerness to apply technology to drive our growing business forward. There will be close interaction with IT team in US, Ireland & India involving global IT projects.
