LyondellBasell Industries Looking for IT Product Analyst – Raw Materials at Mumbai, Maharashtra Full Time

The IT Product Analyst holds a functional and technical expert position within LYB’s Raw Materials Product Team which is responsible for the design, development, delivery and operations of Global Procurement – Raw Materials applications.

In this role, this IT Product Analyst is responsible for delivery and support of global solutions within the supported Raw Materials process areas. Focus areas include Procurement applications and solutions primarily using Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, custom and cloud development, data integrations and platforms. This position engages with a global team of highly effective Product Analysts, solution architects, global process owners, technical staff and other partners to design and deliver quality, integrated end to end solutions, lead major projects and provide oversight for enhancements.

This position reports to the IT Director, Sustainability, Renewables & Raw Materials and is located in LyondellBasell – Mumbai, India.

Roles & Responsibilities

Work closely with the Applications development team and other IT and business partners to develop Raw Materials solution, design and architectural processes.

Adept at crafting Power Apps and Power Platform solutions with the ability to impart your knowledge to both pro-developers and citizen developers

Develop, design and test data visualization reports, dashboards, KPIs, and insights in Power BI

Gathers and performs thorough analyses of all the information available

Partner with security and risk teams in implementing process changes to ensure compliance with privacy policies, security audits, and certifications.

Work with other analysts and data engineers to identity and understand source data system & business requirements for solution delivery

Be responsible for architecting and designing Power Platform tenants/environments, liaising with IT, Security, and other technical groups to ensure all integration needs are met and fully implemented.

Ensure all related applications and tools are understood and properly reflected in solution designs.

Understand both Power Platform and competitive low code/no code market, with the ability to articulate and explain Power Platform’s advantages and differentiator.

Guide technology/solution decisions with architecture and product teams for projects

Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for translating data into meaningful visualizations

Maintains relationship with business colleagues with excellent communication

Perform development and configuration activities as needed along with working with the technical team for Raw Materials solutions

Min. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required

5+ years of experience with programming languages and database systems such as SQL, query etc.

Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps)

Proven understanding of Microsoft Azure & cloud services

Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze, profile and validate data to identify potential data quality issues.

Ability to communicate highly technical information in an understandable manner.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in working in large international project teams including offshore delivery.

Experience delivering Product Oriented solutions adopting Agile Practices

Experience developing solutions that span multiple Office365 services (i.e., SharePoint, Excel, MSSQL, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.

MS Power Apps: 2 years

Chemical/Energy industry background is a plus
