Application support for Svitzer financial applications
Assist service desk in application problem resolution
Adhering to IT support procedures, best practices, SOPs and regional IT guidelines
Advise users about help desk operational and support facilities and processes
Identify problems which require additional expertise and take appropriate action including referring problems requiring high level support, in a cost effective and timely manner
Keep support documentation for IT processes up to date
Monitor IT systems and investigate faults/errors if required
Attend and contribute to meetings (where needed) within IT and other departments
Provide assistance in regional and global IT projects
Provide support as required for any major IT incidents
Any other duties required to assist in providing the best levels of service
Qualifications and Experience Required
IT qualification or equivalent either completed or currently undertaking
Experience of Microsoft SQL, Windows Servers, Windows 10, Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
2nd line support experience preferred
Skills & Competencies Required
High personal drive, approaching tasks with a high level of energy and with a structured and analytical approach
Good communications skills
An understanding of a wide variety of personal computing equipment, networks, and software
Ability to multitask, work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small, geographically dispersed team
Other Factors
Svitzer operates on a 24/7 basis therefore the position holder should be willing to provide occasional support outside standard working hours
Position to be based in Fremantle office but will be required to provide IT support to Svitzer offices and ports across Australia and globally as required
Domestic and occasional international travel may be required
