Our Team:
The Cyber & Intelligence Solutions (C&I) team is responsible for product management and innovative product development of products and services to address the evolving risk and security needs of all of Mastercard’s various customer segments. Cyber Product Integration team in C&I focuses on defining the strategic direction for underlying platforms to enable the successful implementation of real-time, data-driven innovative products and services focused on network, security, fraud, digital identity and authentication. The team is responsible to look across all the products/services across C&I and drive efficiency, re-usability and increase speed to market for our products and services.
The Role:
We are seeking an Analyst – for C&I Revenue Assurance & Analytics who will focus on translating highly complex & large data sets into crisp and concise insights and narratives, solve complex and ambiguous problems, answering questions using data-driven hypotheses and working closely with diverse stakeholders and across multi-functional teams within Mastercard.
. Partner with global teams (Finance, Product, Sales, Clients) on requirement gathering to deliver analytics solutions that generate business value
. Ingests, aggregates and collates client data sets and conducts data manipulation and technical analysis leveraging industry techniques and best practices to identify trends and draw insights
. Assists with the development and validation of dashboards and reports for client/ stakeholder
. Identify and code the best suited data algorithm model for the relevant insights
. Identify data gaps and decide on how to close them Manipulate and analyse complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
. Apply knowledge of metrics, measurements, and benchmarking to complex and demanding solutions
Experiences:
. Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analytical techniques, coding, and data engineering
. Exposure to collecting and/or working with data including standardizing, summarizing, offering initial observations, and highlighting inconsistencies
. Experience developing and configuring dashboards
. Demonstrated judgement when escalating issues to the leadership
. Exposure to working with Financial Services Data & Marketing Data will be preferred
Technical Requirements:
. Experience in data modelling, programming, querying, data mining, extraction and report development using large volumes of granular data to deliver business intelligence and custom reporting solutions
. Strong SQL & Python/R programming skills & experience in working with Advanced Excel
. Strong understanding of the application of analytical methods and data visualization to support business decisions leveraging Tableau/Power BI
. Ability to easily move between business, analytical, and technical teams and articulate solution requirements for each group
. Knowledge of different data sources available within Mastercard will be preferred
