Monitors, perform 1st Level troubleshooting of network (LAN,WAN and wireless) devices.
Duties of the position are broad and may include tasks such as installing new workstations and other computing devices, adding and removing individuals from the list of authorized network and e-mail users, archiving files, overseeing password protection and other security measures, monitoring usage of shared resources, and handling malfunctioning equipment.
Selects, develops, integrates and implements network management applications for internet components.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Installation of computer hardwares and softwares.
Testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting end user technical issues regarding basic network/desktop/laptop/printers support.
Ensure network infrastructure are operational at all times and assist in resolving network issues as well IPT system at site.
Ensure e-mail and voice communication system are operational and assessable at all times.
Conduct audits on all computers to ensure users abide with Unifi policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and analyze computing issues, take ownership of issues to ensure timely resolution.
Assist Problem management activities with IT teams and coordinate all troubeshoting efforts.
Respond to users requests for information and assists in issue resolution.
Any other duties or responsibilities as instructed by the IT Operation Manager (INDIA) or APAC Project IT Manager.
Maintains contact with users on operational and production issues (if any).
Assist in coordinating w.r.t resolution of applications / software / server systems problems impacting production.
Explaining technical information to non-technical clients, management and peers with effective verbal and written communication.
Adhere to ITIL based operations with ticket response and resolution SLA’s as agreed upon. Log and manage incidents and requests in the ticket tracking system (ServiceNow).
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Degree in Computer Science and related work experience.
3-5 years experience in end user IT Support.
3-5 years experience in Microsoft Windows, Cisco switches and routers environment.
ITIL v3/v4 is mandatory.
CCNA and Microsoft 365 Certified is preferable.
