Job Description

10 years# experience as Data Network Engineer with heavy emphasis on: o WAN technology design o DNS and SSL Certificate o Implementation o Monitoring o Management and ordering 1. Good Knowledge of public, private, and hybrid cloud computing ne tworks using Microsoft (Azure, O365), Amazon (AWS), and Google environments. 2. 5-7 years of experience, working with Domain expertise in the following areas: o Local Area Network (LAN) o Wide Area Network (WAN) o Cloud networking and cloud connect ivity o Internet Connectivity o Routing Protocols o Network Security o Wireless Access (WAPS) o IP Addressing (Schemas, VLANS) o Remote Access Services o Site to Site VPN#s o MPLS Network # Routing and Circuits o Voice and video over IP (VVoIP) o Qua lity of Service (QOS), Class of Service (CoS), and the differences between them o Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) and Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) o WAN Optimization o All other IP network based or reliant technologies 3. Full wo rking knowledge of the principles and concepts of telecommunications (IP and TDM) 4. Knowledge and experience with telecom billing systems web and audio conferencing technologies, voice applications and mobility wireless technologies and managem ent 5. Knowledge and experience with multiple hardware and software communications components, both IP and TDM 6. Knowledge and experience with telecommunications network provisioning, billing, maintenance 7. Knowledge of inside cable plant 8. Kn owledge of telecommunications standard topologies and physical specifications 9. Excellent documentation of requirement, change management, and topology skills 10. Understanding of Software Defined Networking (SDN).
