Minecraft Consulting Private Limited Hiring For Network Engineer at Cochin / Kochi / Ernakulam Full Time

Minimum 4 Years or more experienced professional responsible to ensure all LAN/WAN network equipment are available, reachable, and functional at all times for the Business and the end-users.

Support, manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, remote access, wireless, and other network devices. ( Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba network inventory ).

Hands on knowledge in Wireless ( Aruba or Cisco or Meraki )

Be an active contributor for operations, business continuity and build document repository.

Basics and knowledge of MPLS, IPsec Tunnel, SSL VPN, Firewall, DNS, DHCP, TACACS and SNMP.

Work with service providers to install WAN circuits, troubleshoot issues.

Customer focused with the ability to work and interact with different teams and individuals.

Abide by the best practices and procedures of the client and employer.

Mandatory Technical Skills :
TCP/IP & OSI models, WAN & LAN topologies, and Other Networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, TACACS, FTP, SNMP, IP Networking skills.

L1 physical layer technologies Basics -Gig/10G Ethernet, CAT6 & Fiber cabling.

L2 technologies – ARP, VLANs/VLAN tagging, VTP, Spanning Tree, Port-Channelling & Stacking.

L3 technologies – IP Subnetting, IP routing, Routing protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, GLBP, VRRP & HSRP.

Network security – Firewalls ( Cisco or FortiGate or Palo Alto or Juniper ) /ACLs, IPSec, GRE,VPN & Layer 7 inspection services, NAT and PAT concepts.

Firewalls hands-on on FortiGate or any layer 7 firewalls.

Hands on expertise in Wireless is a must have skill ( Aruba or Cisco or Meraki ).
