Position Summary:
The IT Process Analyst will work with the IT team to develop process solutions to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance, promote excellent customer service and minimize process bureaucracy.
Job Description:
Key Tasks and Deliverables:
This person will collaborate across the IT organization to identify and mitigate gaps in current processes using industry best practices including IT Service Management processes (ITIL).
This position will play a vital role in supporting stakeholders through process improvement, process design changes, optimizations and process compliance.
Position Objectives:
Develops process maps, procedures, templates, playbooks and other associated process documentation.
Assists and drive facilitating process workshops with cross functional groups to develop optimal work processes.
Identifies process characteristics that are critical to quality, delivery and cost for optimal process optimization.
Identifies process gaps, gathers associated data, and investigates cause- effect to properly identify improvement opportunities and refine / develop KPI’s.
Supports investigative data analytics to support the process/data owners and drive to a high quality level of data.
Align processes with industry standards and best practices.
Conducts best-practice maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns.
Brings process inconsistencies, problems and improvement opportunities to the attention of management.
Extracts reports and provides a high-level analysis of data for review.
Drive, manage and monitor global IT Change Management processes and compliance,
Host and facilitate weekly change management meetings to review changes and identify impact to users and / or organization.
Maintains a complete understanding of and adheres to all IT policies and processes.
Key Metrics (KPI’s):
Responsible to participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of KPIs in the areas of IT process effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Relationships:
Internal: IT Leadership Team, IT Service Manager, IT Functional Team Leads, Global IT organization.
External: Domain/Industry Knowledge Resources and IT Service vendors
Accountabilities:
This person will be a member of a small global team to ensure all defined IT processes are defined, executed and operating effectively and efficiently.
Drive and push for global IT Change Management process execution and compliance.
Decision Making Authority:
The IT Process Analyst is responsible for analyzing data and recommending changes to management.
