The IT Sales Compensation Analyst role is in the Customer Experience & Insights department within IT at Motorola Solutions. Our IT organization isn’t just here to support our business. Job Description
The Sales Compensation Analyst role is in the Customer Experience & Insights (CXI) team within the IT department at Motorola Solutions. We at CXI create experiences that enable our sellers to sell more, our employees to serve more efficiently, and our customers to more effectively serve their communities.
The Sales Compensation Analyst will work with business users, product managers, IT resources and third-party implementation partners to implement and maintain Sales Compensation solutions. We are looking for aspirational talent looking to grow, learn new things, energize and add tremendous value to meeting the needs of our customers.
This role typically has the following responsibilities:
Working with stakeholders to gather requirements for various projects
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions
Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and develop optimal Sales Compensation solutions to meet business needs
Providing support to business partners in Sales Compensation applications
Assist in testing developed solutions to meet business requirements
Basic Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in math, finance, engineering, statistics, business or related discipline is required
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Demonstrate willingness to learn new technologies and skillsets
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
Minimum 3+ years of experience
Knowledge of sales processes
Desired skills:
Working knowledge of Sales Compensation applications like Oracle Incentive Compensation, Xactly etc.
Knowledge of Agile development methodology and Jira
Ability to partner with cross-functional team members to deliver solutions
Motivated self-starter who can effectively work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
