Business Development Manager (BDM) to Grow/Expand our Sales Segment. We are looking for a sales support professional with experience in the field of server hardware, server software, network switching, (Cisco, Juniper etc) firewalls, and their parts (HP, IBM, DELL, SUN, EMC etc) related sales records.
Responsibilities
· Successfully create a business from new and existing customer accounts and expedite the resolution of complaints to maximize satisfaction.
· Meet and exceed sales targets
. Research and gather documentation on company position (client) in the industry.
· Identify and develop new business through networking and prospecting techniques.
· Develop pipeline by using the company sales methodology and processes.
· Attend and contribute to team meetings and report progress towards achieving account.
· Support marketing activities by attending company events and trade shows.
· Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and OEMs/ Vendors.
· Promote the company s products/services addressing or predicting client’s objectives
Qualifications
· Prior IT Sales experience is a must.
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
· Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role is mandatory (including cold calls).
· Minimum work experience between 5 to 7 years.
· Punctuality, time management and organizational skills.
· Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored solutions to the customer’s needs. ·
Applicants should be from an Information Technology background for the role of Techno-Commercial Sales.
Preference:
The candidates must have field sales experience (Preferably in Servers & Workstations Sales) from IT hardware Manufacturing Company (OEM) / IT Hardware Peripheral Manufacturing (OEM) / National Distributors / Regional Distributors of IT Hardware & Peripherals Sales.
