Job Summary:
Active Directory / Office 365 Engineer is responsible for assessment, planning, design, testing, security and technical documentation, implementation, and support.
Deploy Office/Microsoft 365 Environments
Deploy Azure AD Environments
Deploy advanced Microsoft 365 Services including Enterprise and Mobility
Architect Office/Microsoft 365 Service Environments
Assist in supporting Exchange Online
Maintenance of On-Premises and Azure Active Directory environments including Group Policies and Advanced Group Policy Management
Leading initiatives for researching and deploying new applications
Leading IT Projects related to Active Directory, Azure AD and O365 services
Collaborating with various IT staff and across IT teams
Provide guidance as a senior staff member of the team
Assist with Support Services and related deliverables
Working with End-Users and Vendors to support applications and environments
Working with Client Stakeholders on strategy and vision
Supporting initiatives remotely and on-premises.
Implement/Maintain and document existing and future state architecture with functional requirements and specifications.
Monitor and analyze unified audit logs, security dashboards, SIEM and managed appliances to ascertain service health, potential vulnerabilities, compromised accounts, or services.
Troubleshoot and solve advanced and complex problems as they arise.
Work independently on assigned projects. as well as effectively and cooperatively with administrators, staff, users, and vendors.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience
In-Depth understanding of the implementation and administration processes to support the Office 365 suite of products (Azure AD, O365 Groups, Office.com, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive) etc.
Understands MDM tools – Intune, Azure Identity and Rights Management, Enterprise Mobility Suite
Exchange Online, to include OME & S/MIME Encryption, DKIM, DMARC and SPF concepts.
Solid experience in support management roles is preferred
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory in an enterprise environment
Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory
Excellent decision making and critical-thinking skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills are required
Ability to meet deadlines with Projects and Assignments
Ability to learn and support new technologies and train others
Some regional travel maybe required
Proficiency in O365/EXO PowerShell, automation, and optimization of manual processes.
Participate in an on-call rotation schedule
Must be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
Must be detail oriented
Must have the ability to multi-task
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with others
