Hiring – Assistant Manager – IT system Admin.
Location – Bangalore
· To implement and manage information
Technology services and participates in the development of long term strategy for the future direction of Information Management.
· To lead the Information Management team in the development and implementation of information systems across Medwell network.
· Knowledge on different Application systems to be identified and used for business purpose.
· Creating Google Analytics for Mobile APP by creating a platform to measure and optimising user engagements.
Experience in Networking – LAN, WAN, VPN, VSAT, Servers and Network administration, IT operations, Helpdesk, functions, support, vendors and procurements.
1. Strategy – To create and maintain Information Technology & Management strategy in line with stakeholder needs and in keeping up with current best practice of Medwell Ventures in the field of IT
2. Governance – To ensure Information technology and management are in-line with agreed strategy and policy. To ensure that policy and strategy is in compliance with IT healthcare standards
3. Development – To manage the further development and implementation of current projects
Specifically to manage:
· The development plans for on-going integration, upkeep and improvement of IT systems.
· The commissioning of appropriate and cost effective procurement and contractual arrangements;
· The migration of core technologies and tools to the ‘cloud’;
· The management of project and system dependencies at planning, implementation and support stages;
· The sign off of all project management milestones for IT projects.
· Creating easy access of User Platform via tablet, mobile phones and other hand held devices.
· Working knowledge on Google Analytics for Mobile APP by creating a platform to measure and optimising user engagements.
· Using default implementation of Google Analytics to provide information about number of users, session durations, operating systems, device models at different geographies.
Direct teams of technical, professional and management staff in the successful fulfilment of IT service delivery commitments.
Direct IT risk evaluation and compliance management processes, ensuring the alignment of information security management protocols with department-wide risk management. Manage IT resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands.
4. Implementation – To manage the day to day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and results delivered.
5. Supply management – To manage the relationships with (and between) external agencies and suppliers, ensuring contracts and service levels are negotiated in line with strategic aims and financial constraints and on-going service is in-line with agreed contracts.
6. Budget – To manage the annual Information Management budget and any associated funds. Specifically to be responsible for the review, audit and prioritisation of all information management tools, including (in partnership with the Finance Director) the replacement cycle of information technology hardware.
7. Service – To organise and implement servicing and support of all IT systems to agreed service level standards. In particular:
· to ensure training is provided on any new information management tools that may be introduced;
· to monitor take up and use by staff and stakeholders;
· to provide remedial support where necessary;
To work in partnership with the Head of Communications to ensure that s/he has the tools; required to manage the company’s digital communication channels.
8. Staff – To line manage and develop the Information Management team, working with them to plan and prioritise their workloads, set objectives, conduct appraisals and supported to continually improve their performance and results.
9. Research– To develop and implement plans, in consultation with key stakeholders, to research, analyse and present material relating to the company’s impact and approach that positions the organisation as a global leader within the healthcare sector.
10. Business continuity – To develop and maintain the Major Incident & Business Continuity plan for IT and to implement measures designed to safeguard the Information Technology and Management needs of the organisation in the event of major incidents or disasters.
Essential Knowledge and Experience
· Relevant degree and evidence of continuous professional development in an IT role
· Demonstrable experience and evidence of success in an information management role with multiple stakeholder groups
· Formal project management training and experience
· Knowledge of CRM data and database systems;
· Understanding of data security and other compliance responsibilities
· Experience of commissioning services from third parties and managing relationships with suppliers and contractors
· Several years of experience leading a development team in an both on-premise and cloud-based IT organization with strong preference for those who have managed in Agile/scrum environments
· Experience managing delivery of applications using Sales force technology including Sales force Service & Sales Cloud, Communities, Force.com and Salesforce1
· Capable of handling multiple applications/projects simultaneously
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
· Successful service in an executive leadership role over the design, development, release, and maintenance of technology systems and services for an organization with more than 500 employees.
· Experience with server-side technologies, Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, and authentication servers.
· Experience with transition to and management of cloud based technologies and platforms.
· Experience with RDBMS (relational database management systems) Oracle, SQL Server, in addition to the open source platforms MySQL and PostsgreSQL.
· Knowledge of local-area network (LAN) and wide-area network (WAN) technologies including Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP).
· Extensive knowledge of infrastructure planning and operations, design, and deployment, as well as system life cycle management.
· Expertise in budget planning, financial management, and resource management.
· Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs.
· Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of diverse scopes in a cross-functional environment.
· Resource management — has skills to Influence results through appropriate staffing, budgetary management and maximization of available resources
· Computer networks, network administration and network installation
· Computer viruses and security
· Compliance with Government & Healthcare standards, Network security compliance (ISEC & Patching)
· Firewall and password policy management
· End to end Infrastructure support on stores & new office roll-outs
· Better knowledge of our stakeholders resulting in improved service and user satisfaction
· Delivery of operational plans to time and within budget, supported by appropriate IT systems
· Represent the department in all external IT matters.
