Enterprise Applications team
In this role, you will be part of our Enterprise Applications team, responsible end to end for Nokia’s applications’ portfolio, used across all Business Groups and Functions. Our current mission is to simplify and modernize our application portfolio and to transform into a fast moving, product-oriented and customer-focused technology organization.
Within EA you will be part of Automation CoE which delivers Automation ensuring benefits to Nokia’s Business Groups and Functions via Automation levers like RPA, Orchestration combined with intelligent algorithms, Data Processing (IDP – NLP), Intelligent Agents & Product specific automation (e.g. for SAP – Winshuttle); Automated Data Migration, among others.
Product owner RPA & IDP will be responsible to work with multiple stakeholders to understand business needs on Automation, build and manage demand backlog and drive implementation roadmap aligning with Business Stakeholders and development team.
Role Summary:
This Intelligent Process Automation Solution/Process Architect position requires extensive knowledge in the assessment of business processes for automation for identify/qualify the opportunities and design of automated solutions using varied Automation and integration technologies and platforms such as Java/J2EE, MS technologies (.NET, MS SQL. Power platform etc.), Python, Microservices, ESBs, RPA Tools, IDP Platform, Workflows etc. The Solution/Process architect works closely with the business SME to define the potential for automation for a particular process. Should poses knowledge of the various automation product i. e. RPA, IDP (Intelligent Document Processing), BPM/Workflow and understands the client IT landscape, confirms the feasibility of the automation for the processes in scope, and defines the functional architecture needed to develop, test and deploy the automation components
Key Accountabilities:Responsibilities include, but may not be restricted to:
Evaluate Automation tools/platform and provide recommendations
Assess automation opportunities using Automation technologies (RPA, IDP etc.) and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution considering feasibility of automation, ROI, Compliance requirements
Provide recommendations to alter or reengineer process to automate or improve automation potential during the assessment
Work with business SME to elicit requirements, assess the process, benefit calculation and create business case for assessed opportunities
Prove viability of the proposed solution through POC or prototypes if required
Anticipate and identify technical issues, dependencies and other risks which may affect delivery of automated solution or proposed benefits during the assessment and design phase
Present and demonstrate automation platforms capabilities to various Business teams within Nokia or Customer teams
Work closely with the IPA delivery team to design solutions and producing design documents leveraging various Technologies and Platform
Validate/Support Automated solution during System Integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure it meets the solution designed from a business view and is delivering forecasted benefits
Assist development team in resolving technical/functional issues/clarifications
Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews and walkthroughs
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor/Master’s university degree in Engineering/Computer Science
Key Skills
10 to 12 years of IT experience. Minimum three years of experience in leading discovery & design for automation solutions
In depth understanding of features & functionalities of tools/Platform in Automation space, involving market leading automation products, i.e., Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UI Path, work fusion, MS Power Platform etc.
Multi domain and process expertise across global markets with Ability to merge technology & process
Benefits calculations (transaction Time improvement specifically) and ROI through a capacity creation or FTE take-out
Extensive knowledge on Design & development of automated Solutions using Industry leading Automation platform and IDP Product (i.e. ABBY Flexicapture/Vantage, AA IQBOT, Workfusion, Antworks etc.) aiming for reusability and scalability
Strong stakeholder management skills including influencing skills
Strong Experience in front ending client facing discussions and interfacing with Client Business and IT teams
Must have outstanding communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. This includes making presentations, leading technical discussions, and writing technical documents and architecture guidelines for the IPA
Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams
Understanding in the areas of Natural Language Processing, Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision, Service oriented architecture, webservices, REST, SOAP, JSON, Schema less databases
Desirable:
‘Start up’ mindset, very ‘hands on’, ‘get things done’ attitude
Understanding of cloud computing models, PaaS, google cloud, Azure, AWS
Certification in industry leading Robotics Process Automation Products
Quality Black Belt or a full time Six Sigma role in a fortune 500 organization
