As a highly experienced IT ERP AP Finance Solution Architect professional you will be responsible for applying technical knowledge in translating client business requirements into a customer solution in Finance domain – with focus on AP and I2P (Invoice to Pay) Vendor Invoice Management solutions. Creates complete end-to-end complex (standard) solution designs. Will have a high degree of business process understanding, business Drivers and ERP technology. Able to apply advanced methodologies for the analysis and design of solutions.
Leads and guides work of Technical Solution Architects who develop, build and propose technical solutions, with coding capability seen as a plus.

In this role, you will:
Create solution architecture and provide technical Solution Design.
Work together with technology leads, Technical solution architects and partners to design solutions based on customer requirements.
Capture and manage customer requirements using industry best practices.
Manage complex assignments independently for the specific domain including consultancy to stakeholders.
Ensure cross-BU coordination in solution definition & development.
Define and manage detailed architectural requirements for solution design and build work during the delivery phase for projects.
Develop and deploy the solution architecture capabilities, tools and techniques.
Ensure that overall technical solution and architecture is aligned and based on the enterprise architecture
As a recognized expert, you will represent the company externally to suppliers and partners and present solution architecture & design to stakeholder for verification and makes required adaptations. Acts as a permanent consultant in respective competence areas. It requires knowledge of indirect tax configuration and calculation in FI module, but also understands Supply Chain (MM and SD) module requirements linked from e2e process flow.
Keep the alignment between enterprise architecture blueprint and recommendations and solution Design implementation.
Provide system architecture and design specifications as well as solutions to support business and operating models and other architectural or security aspects.
Be assigned to a particular project or program in an enterprise to ensure technical/architectural integrity and consistency of the solution at every stage of its lifecycle.
Evaluate needed new capabilities and business requirements against platform capabilities

Create and maintain e2e data architecture incl. Version management considerations
Provide proven methods for functionality enablement
Determine the approach for the system- and data migration
Create solution designs including (not exhaustive)
Interface definition & setup
Consult in AP and Vendor Invoice Management application design and overall user experience

Your skills and experience
BSc or MSc in relevant field
5-7 years of relevant experience in ERP solutions with a focus on I2P (Invoice to Pay) functionalities
Understanding Cloud, SaaS, Mobile concepts, architectures, and standard deployment models
Strong Business application knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and third-party tools like e.g. KOFAX, OpenText, Ariba, eInvoicing, Tax Engine(s).
Capability to validate system solutions, design and propose alternatives from process, change, business viewpoints to best implement standard solutions.
Experience evaluating the change management impact of a proposed solution.
Ability to understand the process and solution architecture E2E across multiple technologies.
Comfortable with agile, DevOps and waterfall methodologies.
Can guide external and internal project teams.
S/4 configuring capability.
Understanding of the relationship between costs, schedule, quality, speed in a defining a solution and make tradeoff recommendations.
