As a Product Owner, you will be part of our Enterprise Applications team, responsible end to end for Nokia’s applications’ portfolio, used across all Business Groups and Functions. Our current mission is to simplify and modernize our application portfolio and to transform it into a fast-moving, product-oriented and customer-focused technology organization.
The overall objective for this position is to have a strong candidate ensuring successful agile project execution and delivery in the Group Functions application landscape. Group Functions is the IT team supporting end2end the following business domain: HR, Quality, Legal & Compliance, Real Estate, Delivery, Resource management.
The current application landscape is in front of significant upgrade, development and standardization where requiring a candidate experienced with SAP EPPM (Enterprise Project Portfolio Management) implementation and upgrade experience. The EPPM consultant facilitates the upgrade, implementation, and support of the Resource Management Application suite to enhance the Nokia business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of business satisfaction. In addition, the consultant will partner with the BGs to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to scope project and deliverables for same. The consultant will implement, customize and test solutions on client system and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed.
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of our team, you will:
Partnership with stakeholders and pro-actively involved in the preparation, conceptualization, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects.
Perform feasibility studies and process design reviews
Develop detailed plan of process implementation
Define the IT the requirements, Blueprints, design, implement the solutions
Develop, maintain, and test existing solutions.
Lead industry /corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP)
Inspect and verifies the quality of the Releases before delivery
Demonstrate profound knowledge of modelling standards and tools
Scope, analyze and size of business requirements
Provide recommendations within IT and to the business on RM solutions.
Responsible the technical aspects of project implementations in close cooperation with the Nokia IT project manager and the product owners
Responsible for completing the architecture documentation
Supports solution deployments and executes testing and provides training to key users
Self-organized and cross-functional
Reporting the progress of Sprint to the Project Manager and the Product Owner as agreed
Production support right after the move into production
Accountable for solution design of the IT Service, aligned with Enterprise & Solution Architecture and IT service Owners
Responsible in prototyping, pilots and PoC’s
Your skills and experience
You have:
A minimum of 8 – 10 years of SAP consulting experience including 2 to 3 Years’ experience with S/4 HANA.
Candidates should have an expertise in at least two (ideally more) of the following solutions:
Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) Solution Application.
Commercial Project Management (CPM) Solution Application.
Multi-Resource Scheduling (MRS) Solution Application.
Enterprise Project Connection (EPC);
Project systems
Experience with EPPM Suite business processes and various related industry experience.
Formal SAP certification in a related application area is a plus
Good knowledge of SAP integration to Core ECC desirable.
Experience with SAP Implementation Methodologies (ASAP, Activate, Sprints, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within client company
Experience in working with Agile methodology / DevOps environment
Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success
Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment
Expertise in Application lifecycle management
Expertise in Application harmonization/streamlining of landscape
IT Technology knowledge, trends & direction
Information security understanding
Application / solution architecture understanding
Self-confident, strong problem solving
Ability to work with and communicate to a variety of audiences, executive level/peer-to-peer/ subordinate/ technical and non-technical etc.
Education: Bachelor of Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
