As an IT QA automation engineer, you will be part of our Enterprise Applications team, responsible end to end for Nokia’s applications’ portfolio, used across various Business Groups and Functions. Our current mission is to simplify and modernize our application portfolio and to transform it into a fast-moving, product-oriented and customer-focused technology organization.
The overall objective for this position is to have a strong candidate ensuring successful IT end to end automation testing in the following business domains: Hardware Services, from Case handling and Customer Care to Orchestration and Logistics and Finance
What you will learn and contribute to
Key responsibilities:
Candidate will serve in a key role supporting technical tasks involved in the creation of test automation frameworks for middleware, database and UI applications using Selenium/Core Java;
This role will also be responsible for implementation of automated test framework development in a Continuous Integration agile environment;
Candidate will serve in a key role supporting technical tasks involved in the creation of test automation frameworks for UI using Selenium. The candidate will operate both as a Selenium automation developer and functional tester based on demand;
Candidate will serve as a key technical resource within an agile team supporting large-scale UATs, regressions tests, etc.
Your skills and experience
Required Skills
Candidate will have 3 – 5 years hand’s on Core Java/ Selenium development experience;
Candidate will demonstrated technical proficiency applying Core Java automation development in various automation frameworks such as keyword or hybrid frameworks;
Candidate will have hand’s on experience using Selenium Webdriver and TestNG Annotations;
Hands-on experience in automating middleware messages SOAP/REST/XML/JSON using Selenium;
Candidate will have 1 – 2 years hand’s on experience managing test case execution using BitBucket/GitHub;
Candidate will have 1 – 2 years working within agile / scrum team model;
Candidate will have technical proficiency with CI/CD automation implementation using JENKINS and Selenium;
Knowledge on test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM;
Optimistic, results oriented, self motivated and adaptable individuals;
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar related degree;
Information security understanding;
Application / solution architecture understanding;
Self-confident, strong problem solving, Pro-activeness;
Ability to work with and communicate to a variety of audiences, executive-level/peer-to-peer/ subordinate/ technical and non-technical etc.
Nice to have
Candidate will have Salesforce Testing experience (or at least understanding Salesforce landscape);
Any agile or testing certificate.
