The Senior Lead IS/IT Internal Auditor will primarily be responsible for leading complex IT internal audit assignments. The Senior Lead IS/IT Auditor is also expected to have strong domain expertise, particularly in the area of IT security. He/she is expected to lead assignments with minimal guidance and supervision, as well as contribute meaningfully to IT audit planning and execution.
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of our team, you will:
Support the IT Audit Director in initial data request preparation, preliminary scope allocation and travel planning and guest auditor identification process.
Coordinate stakeholder interviews and detailed data analysis and risk assessment done by the team
Coordinate the updates and changes to our measurement plans based on new risks and controls which are identified
Coordinate standard meetings and preparation of presentation materials
Validate and follow-up test steps which are executed based on approved audit scope and measurement plan
Ensure adequate audit techniques are used to measure transactions, retrieve facts and evaluate the
adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls system
compliance to laws, regulations, existing policies or procedures and
reliability of existing management information system applications.
Facilitate discussions with the auditee to identify root causes of issues and analyze potential risks
Ensure agreement has been reached with auditee on test exceptions, potential risk and required actions
Ensure IT auditors deliver high quality issue descriptions and workpapers and hand over a high-quality close meeting deck to the director of the audit
Ensure required audit documentation is available and uploaded to repository
Be an IA domain expert in the area of IT security
Support annual and continuous audit planning, initiatives planning and execution and other strategic activities within their domain
Your skills and experience
You have:
Extensive and substantial knowledge and experience in IT security – in particular, conducting vulnerability scans, penetration testing, configuration management, data security and data privacy concepts, access management.
Strong knowledge of industry IT control standards and frameworks, including but not limited to NIST, COBIT, and ITIL
Strong knowledge and experience in reviewing IT asset management, IAM, data security and cybersecurity topics.
Strong knowledge or experience in SAP Business Suite (ECC, ERP, S4/HANA) is highly desirable and experience in SAP NetWeaver components is a big plus.
Experience in working with, and presenting to business and IT stakeholders, and at times, to leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, information management, or other IT/ business related field required.
It would be nice if you also had:
Professional certifications – e.g., CIA, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, or equivalent.
Understanding of SDLC principles.
Experience in Operational Technology (OT) and Data Analytics (e.g., ACL, IDEA, etc…).
