Novartis Looking for Director Solution Architect F1 Foundry at Hyderabad, Telangana Full Time

Director Solution Architect F1 Foundry will take the Technical Lead role for data42 program, the role will be responsible to define Solution Design, working closely with product owners to define their backlog, define how to implement the story with s/w developers, drive the s/w developers with clear deliverables sprint by sprint, driving technical discussion, and technical deep dive in case of any issue in the products in data42 program. The person will be responsible for driving realization of use cases on the platform to a successful outcome, through coordination with different stakeholders and will also be supporting any technical queries for users to access data42 platform for their analysis.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Drive technical engagement and perform technical evaluations on the Foundry and AWS platforms to determine how best to deliver respective use cases

1. Coordinate and document tech evaluation scope with relevant data42 use cases

2. Define & document the Solution Design based on architecture guidelines

3. Present summary outcomes and recommendations to stakeholder audience

• Drive PoC / MVP / Industrialization of a product in Product Lines and support use case product teams in trouble-shooting deep technical issues and providing technical guidance.
• Drives and gives finest platform architecture documentation that is clear, consistent, well-structured and accurate.
• Support system architecture definition for Big Data, Advanced Analytics systems
• Design and document architecture at multiple levels (high-level to detailed) and across multiple views (conceptual, logical, physical, data flow and sequence diagrams)
• Translate business requirements into conceptual and detailed technology solutions.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or any other technology related field.
• 15-20 years of experience in IT, predominantly in AWS Big Data, Advanced Analytics and Palantir Foundry platform architecture
• Hands on experience on Foundry with Code Repository, Code Workbook, Contour, Fusion, Data Lineage, Slate, Workshop, etc. And working experience in AWS cloud technologies and tools in core services
• Hands-on architect having solid experience in programming languages primarily Java, Python, Unix shell scripts, PySpark. Basic knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts and related technologies (RStudio, Jupyter)
• Expertise architecting and delivering highly-scalable, distributed, cloud-based enterprise data solutions. Strong in API based architecture and concept. Able to do quick PoC using API integration and development
• Able to design and implement data integration between Palantir Foundry and external Apps based on Foundry data connector framework. Agile and scrum methodologies knowledge
• Good knowledge of Big Data framework and related technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, NoSQL…) and DevOps tools (Artifactory, CI/CD Frameworks)
