About the Department
The Global IT Organisation in Novo Nordisk consolidates all Information Technology (IT) functions anchored locally across the Novo Nordisk Executive Vice President (EVP) areas and the IT functions driven centrally, e.g., IT infrastructure & support, information security and system management. The GITO Digital Workplace APAC department is a self-propelled unit based out of Bangalore, India working in an agile setup with global product teams for various digitalisation, communication, collaboration and automation IT platforms. The growing team (currently 16) constitutes of experienced Digital Collaborations and platform Service Managers, IT Architects, Technical and Business Analysts who work together with our Danish and US team to cater to Digital workplace requirements for Novo Nordisk employees. As an area we are responsible for Microsoft 365 Platforms, Novo Nordisk Meeting technologies, Computing and Mobile platforms and devices. Together we focus on how to build a great digital workplace while ensuring stable and secure operations.
The Position
As our new Advanced IT Infrastructure Architect, you will be an integral member of our agile product team, where you will provide architectural/technical support and advisory on industry best practices in the Microsoft end user computing and modern device management area. You are expected to drive the implementation of new technical features/solutions as per the product team’s roadmap and vision, while using best of security practices which will add value to for Line of Business. Further, you are entrusted to perform technical troubleshooting, bring innovative approaches to mitigate existing technical impediments, implement new solutions and automations to achieve operation excellence mainly for our operations /service management team.
As a senior IT architect, it is expected that you will be proactive in engaging in meaningful dialogue with stakeholders globally to understand needs and usage patterns to recommend best products/solutions and investments in future technologies. At the same time, you will also manage/lead vendors dialogue from a technical perspective and challenge them if needed on the solution/timeline offered keeping in mind the value ad for the company.
Qualification
Computer Science Master or Bachelor degree or comparable degree in IT or relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration).
Technical
Required to have:
8+ years of experience with IT infrastructure and technologies from large corporations.
5+ years of expert level experience in End User Computing and Microsoft Windows Client Concepts technology.
Good technical knowledge and hands on experience in:
Windows 10 lifecycle, security, and feature updates.
SCCM, OSD deployment and software distribution.
Microsoft end point manager- Intune, Autopilot, Co-management, and desktop analytics.
Active Directory group policies.
Dell and Lenovo Laptop hardware components.
.Decent knowledge of ITIL framework (Incidents, problems, major incidents etc.)
Good to have:
Good to have a generic IT infrastructure related technology.
Enterprise Architecture concepts, standards, and best practices.
Agile way of working.
Proven success on projects with large/moderate scale deployments across infrastructure.
Personal Skill
Highly motivated, committed, responsible and self-driven.
Excellent communication skill in English (written and oral) the Sr. Architect must communicate with a wide range of users on different organisational and technical competency levels.
