As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will interface with the customer’s IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client’s site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should be highly experienced in some Oracle products and several platforms that are being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Because of substantial customer interfacing, a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction is essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred with five years related experience. Experience with Oracle’s core products, applications, and tools is important.

Experience of about 3-5+ years with strong EBS Apps DBA, Oracle Database DBA experience and Scripting skills.
Apps DBA – a good understanding of the EBSO technology stack for 12.1.3, 12.2.x & WebLogic with strong in Change Management activities like EBS Cloning, apps Patching, Config change, etc) and Troubleshooting
Core Database RDBMS and RAC for all versions with strong in Change Management activities like DB Cloning/duplicate using RMAN, DB Install, DB patching, etc.
Knowledge in PDB/CDB database and Experience in Backup and Recovery, RMAN, Standby
Experience in automation scripting is mandatory in one or more – Python/Shell-Scripting/Perl, etc and Implementing automation across OEM ,Oracle Core, Oracle ERP DBA Processes.
Have the ability to ‘troubleshoot’ and critically analyze problems quickly and effectively.
Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical discussions to non-technical persons.
The candidate should be able to ‘think on his/her feet and be able to effectively analyze problems, so good troubleshooting skills is important
Ready to work in Shifts.
Knowledge in OCI or any other Cloud architecture is preferable.
Good to have though not mandatory
