Create and administer inventories for:
software – (Vender, SW name, serial #, purchase date, subscription start/end, who assigned to)
hardware – (make, model, serial #, purchase date, warranty start/end, who assigned to)
Setup and manage reseller/supplier business accounts for the purchase of hardware & accessories for staff
Deploying the appropriate hardware to employees globally outside the US with the company’s standard image.
Orientation of new employee, covering IT resources, processes, and procedures.
Overseeing end user device compliancy (Windows updates, hardware manufacturer updates, application updates, etc…)
Administering & resolving helpdesk tickets using Remote Desktop support using tools like LogMeIn/SplashTop.
Troubleshoot end user hardware and software issues.
Troubleshoot office servers and network devices.
Required Experience:
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent technical work experience in subjects such as computer programing, software development, mathematics, IT management, wireless systems and server applications.
Implement Systems Administration best practices and procedures.
5+ years IT experience working as a Computer Programmer, IT Support Technician, Software Developer or NetworkSystems Administrator on Linux & Windows systems.
Administration of Web servers: Microsoft IIS, Apache, Tomcat and Nginx
Familiar with using Atlassian Jira & Confluence
Experience installing SSL certificates on Windows, Linux and Java.
Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/AlmaLinux) Administration, Windows Server 2019-2022, Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
Experience building and managing systems hosted on VMWare, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
Understanding & experience with resolving system vulnerabilities and security issues, firewalls, network devices & protocols (routing & switching), virtualization (VMWare vSphere), Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Rackspace).
Some overlap with global teams will be required.
