The Role
We are seeking a Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our core Australia & New Zealand recruiting team in the technology sector, currently 24 members – onshore + offshore. This is a highly visible role working in partnership with national (A/NZ) and regional (APMEA – APAC, Middle East & Africa) leadership to scale their functions across all major, mid-market and new accounts.
You should have a passion for delivering business outcomes through operational excellence, process improvement, talent attraction and candidate experience and a track record of growing, developing and elevating Talent teams (including TA Leads, TA Partners, Sourcers and TA Admins) to serve as talent advisors to internal + external customers. You will be responsible for long-term planning for all TA activities while ensuring that short-term goals are met.
For this role, you will be working/managing across core Australia / New Zealand hours, which for most of the offshore members, is either 5:00pm – 3:00pm or 5:30pm – 3:30pm IST. If this is not something that suits your lifestyle or are unable to do, sorry, this is not the opportunity for you!
This leader will be expected to roll up their sleeves in helping drive initiatives and continued transformational change/improvements in Hiring E2E, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), Eliminating Bias & Discrimination in the hiring process, Talent Process Automation, Employer Branding, Candidate Experience, Recruitment-Tailored Technology, while managing teams in Remote Working & Virtual Recruiting!

Leading, growing and always progressing a collaborative, diverse and inclusive team of TA professionals committed to delivering hiring outcomes.
Data-backed progress to defined goals, improve TA processes and OKRs.
Increases in market-calibrated top talent, diversity-aligned gender neutral GTM strategies and hiring processes.
Quality of hire by holding senior hiring leaders, interviewers and the TA teams to a high standard of sophistication, while conducting inclusive interviews, positioning employer/employee value proposition (EVP), and closing candidates to ensure we are consistently securing best in class talent.
Introducing, enhancing and iterating on creative sourcing strategies that deliver pre-qualified candidates consistently for positions in your teams portfolio; using a mix of in-house and external tactics and resources.
Demonstrated action to achieve milestones on our Diversity Hiring successes, ultimately leading to greater diversity in our workforce – currently 39% women globally.
Ensure consistent and excellent candidate experiences from the first touch, through a warm handover, to onboarding. Create fan candidates, even if they are not selected for the role.
Regular reporting, status updates, and consultations with your hiring leaders, holding all accountable to hiring velocity while you own quality.
Coordinate with corporate, technical and project hiring managers to develop strategic recruitment priorities and where required work with Workforce Management Departments/Teams internally on the redeployment of resources as necessary.

To Help Us Level Up, You’ll Ideally Have
Experience leading medium-large, geographically dispersed diverse teams of Talent Acquisition professionals (contingent and full time) of various levels.
Proven track record of working with leadership level on a consultative and partnering basis.
Experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) programs as well as Employee Referrals, Sourcing Drives and other initiatives.
Experience leveraging market and competitor analysis to define and execute effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches in support of both regional and global hiring.
Experience partnering with global stakeholders to collaborate on recruiting strategy and delivery.
Experience utilizing complex data sets and analytical skills to create, measure, and scale workflows to achieve accelerated hiring goals.
Experience preparing and delivering executive level briefings to inform business leaders on the progress of key recruitment initiatives, programs and hiring metrics.
Well-developed and highly effective organizational skills, operational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proven track record of success in a technology recruiting role, having had responsibility for screening, interviewing and hiring for multiple positions concurrently.

Bonus Points If You Have
Bachelors Degree in any field, preferably Technology, Business or HR (all not mandatory)
Ability to use MS suite – Power BI, MS platforms
Experience in Special Projects – TA Systems, TA Tools, DE&I, Candidate Experience, Employee Referrals programs etc.
Ability to manage TA vendor and relations
Sound knowledge of recruitment tools (ATS, HRIS, EIS etc), platforms, and strategies.
Willingness to travel in ANZ as/when needed (borders and COVID-19 dependent).
