Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and drivers on end-user devices.
Set up and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections.
Collaborate with the IT team to deploy and maintain software updates, security patches, and system configurations.
Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, such as backups, disk clean up, and performance optimization.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems and applications.
Perform hardware and software inventory management, including procurement and asset tracking.
Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
Assist in the planning and execution of technology-related projects, such as system upgrades or office relocations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide proactive recommendations for improving system performance and user experience.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in PC and infrastructure support, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Experience with Active Directory, group policies, and user account management.
K nowledge of system administration tasks, such as backups, software updates, and security patches.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
