Accountable for managing and delivering a portfolio of new capability infrastructure projects and programs as part of PepsiCo’s Global IT Infrastructure Transformation
Partner with Engineering and EA teams to develop and deploy new standards including deploying proof of concepts and deployment of pilots;
Work with Delivery teams across sectors to develop deployment run books, change management and training plans, move to production for new platforms and capabilities.
Partner with PepsiCo’s procurement and supplier management team to onboard new suppliers, setup new contracts or modify existing contracts to support new capability support and deployment.
Accountable for end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure new capability projects including demand shaping, estimation, value realization tracking, project team sourcing, project governance, technical design and delivery, reporting & metrics tracking etc.
Ensure that solutions deployed are consistent with IT Architecture and Engineering standards for network, compute, end user computing, cloud and security
Work as a liaison between architects/engineers and business relationship managers to articulate and translate business requirements and corresponding technology solutions and drive alignment across stakeholders
Partner with EA/Engineering, Delivery, Operations and PepsiCo’s strategic suppliers to develop project proposals, estimations and cost/benefit analysis for projects
Drive service improvement plans in partnership with internal stakeholders and suppliers to improve the quality and efficiency of Infrastructure service delivery
Project budget management, planning and forecasting
Keep abreast of internal technology / solutions relevant to supported functions (e.g., PepsiCo Global Standards, Innovation pipeline, emerging technical capabilities) and external technology and solutions relevant to the function
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree Required (computer science, computer engineering, or information systems)
12 or more years of technology and IT experience, with minimum of 5 years in IT Infrastructure services delivery and/or architecture and engineering
Strong knowledge of network/compute infrastructure including local and wide area networks and topologies, SD-WAN, DDI solutions etc
Strong portfolio/program management and delivery skills
Proven ability in managing large scale infrastructure refreshes, consolidating and modernizing technology footprints, and network traffic/capacity optimization
Ability to lead multiple internal and vendor teams effectively, manage deliverables and outcomes through multiple managed service providers
