Purpose:
This role provides coaching for Azure DevOps tool across the organization. Includes training and coaching teams on code delivery best practices, as well as best practices for automation through CI/CD pipeline. Align with manager and team lead on best practice and suggest improvements and changes based on interactions. Role is very technical and requires specific knowledge of Azure DevOps tool as well as 3 to 5 years of development experience, especially in automation of code deployment and coding best practices. The role will be very customer support-centric and requires a person who enjoys interactions and helping others.
Accountabilities:
Provide real time training for Kanban/work item management, CI/CD deployments, variable management, code repository, and Git issues.
Engage with development and project teams as Azure DevOps SME to coach on process improvement and technical coaching on the code update and code migration process
Provide trouble shooting for team with existing CI/CD pipeline when issues arise
Maintain and support hosted and on-premise build agents for Azure DevOps
Work with AzDev Lead on audit and control monitoring
Act as secondary SME for two or more platforms, supporting the primary SME as requested.
Ensuring development process and best practices are followed through individual and team training, solution management and internal social media use
Responding to support notifications during and after normal work hours, including nights and weekend, when necessary

2+ years java development
5+ years project management
3+ years people management
Qualifications/Requirements
Years of experience:
3+ years experience in a agile development related role.
3 years minimum direct coding experience using Git as well as including code check-in/checkout, build processes and issue tracking desired in Azure DevOps or TFS is needed
1 to 2 years of training experience is a plus, ability to teach is imperative in this role.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS is required
Must have experience using Azure DevOps tool set
Knowledge of YAML, Ant, Maven, Nuget and NPM is a plus
Code Coverage, Unit Testing and comparable development knowledge is a plus
Java/C# coding experience desired
Experience on CICD pipeline setup for Azure capabilities eg. ADF, MLOps etc is a plus
Mandatory Non-Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Powerpoint, Word for documenting and training needed
