This role will be responsible for setting the strategic
direction for the ESSA, sector wide Supply Chain Capability
agenda, owning sector wide capability initiatives alongside,
applying particular focus on the Strategy and
Transformation work streams establishing key priorities
and actioning associated deployment plans to build
capability in these areas.
Primary accountabilities:
Working with the Change and Engagement Sr
Manager to develop and implement suitable SC
business Capability transformation strategy and road
map to respond to both internal and external drivers
You challenge existing practice and identify new and
better ways of working in order to accelerate
learning effectiveness initiatives towards achieving
its strategic outcomes
You lead on behalf of and in partnership with SC
Leadership team, define the Strategic Capability
development agenda and align on differentiating
strategic Capabilities.
You manage the implementation through effective
and impactful targeted learning projects with clear
and aligned measures of success
Represent ESSA on Global Supply Chain College
Council as Capability lead. Ensuring ESSA Capability
priorities are incorporated into the Global thinking
when building learning interventions and programs
You create initiative to drive self-learning and target
achievement, engagement through effective
communication and blended learning approach
Support the pilot of the Learning Experience
Platform in partnership with the L&D CoE Ensuing a
smooth launch and implementation with clear
measures of success.
Partner with the CoE to build and define functional
Capability frameworks, to fully align a standardized
view of both current and future Capability. Gaining
real insights into key areas of focus to design
functional Capability Road map and structure.
Align with E2E leads & HRBP’s (developing and
developed markets) on critical roles within new
organizational structure. In collaboration with SME’s
and CoE’s design a framework to assess current Capability of critical roles identifying key gaps and
building plans to close them.

Qualifications
Educated to Degree level or equivalent
Strong Technical understanding of Supply Chain
function
Experience in leading a training and development
agenda
Experienced in working with front line employees
and senior business stakeholders
Ideally experienced in working in European cultures
Leadership skills: POM Behaviours; Collaborate &
share, Trust and Initiate
Leadership skills: Excellent communications skills,
influencing skills, analytical skills and good strategic
thinker to connect themes to develop prioritized
agenda to support function
Ability to present proposals and data in compelling
PowerPoint decks to gain alignment
Strong facilitator and presenter
Good understanding of virtual training platforms
