In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Enable the business strategy by defining and driving the platform architecture with a specific focus on the domains of Contact Center, Field and Remote Service, Service Sales, Solution delivery, Service Innovation and Spart Part supply chain.
Design, Develop, Deploy modern applications which augment existing capabilities based on model tech stacks (microservices, UIFrameworks) on the cloud.
Define , Design and Implement API’s for the capabilities that are owned.
In creating and maintain the platform architecture, you will work collaboratively with the larger architecture team and subject matter experts in the individual areas/domains. You will drive the simplification of the IT Landscape via leveraging proven solutions while maintaining full business buy-in for the proposed architecture.
Be accountable for executing technology selection and architecture evaluation (e.g.: Technology Market Scans, evaluation through RFP /RFI process, Framing, and Value Prototyping) within respective domain and adhering to EA guidelines.
Be the trusted advisor for Sr. stakeholders and ensure architecture design is aligned and supported by them
Establish strong communication within Platform including DevOps teams, to ensure solutions are built as designed.
Analyze enterprise business context (business strategy), as well as change requirements to guide solution decisions/Architecture for the Platform
Plans, researches, and designs security architecture framework and best practices for IT systems and integration designs.
Determines security protocols needed to be implemented after evaluating business requirements and regional legal requirements.
Responds to, and investigates, security incidents and provides thorough post-event analyses.
You are responsible for
Building scalable Platform architecture and Roadmap in alignment to business capability Roadmap consistent with the EA principles, executed in line with the standards, rules, and guidelines.
Create and drive the transition architecture from legacy systems into the defined architecture while simplifying the IT landscape including Post Merger Integration
Drive architecture deliverables via clear priorities and demand mgmt.
Defining an API roadmap for the capabilities.
Own all API and the API catalogue.
Ownership of the microserivces/applications for the capabilities (full dev-sec-ops lifecycle).
Manage technical debt by driving landscape rationalization program.
Strong working knowledge of IT risks, cyber security area and must have good awareness of CISO area.
Should have strong knowledge of handling standards around SOC,ISO etc
Assist with the development, revision, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions related to IT Security
Review and complete detailed risk assessments on new technologies and solutions.
Should have experience in executing cloud impact assessment for Cloud services for onboarding SaaS solution
Provide security architecture inputs during privacy risk assessment exercise.
Provide mentoring and cross training in IT security area within Architecture community.
Assist with the development and maintenance of IT security measurement and reporting systems to aid in monitoring effectiveness of IT Security programs for various SaaS application.
Provides consulting support to projects during the vision and strategy, architecture, and development phases
Working knowledge of all vulnerability classes on the OWASP Periodic Table of Vulnerabilities
Ability to provide detailed IT, Network Security drawings and diagrams and relation as-built documentation.
Knowledge of messaging, service, and event-based infrastructure. Experience modeling data, message, and service interoperability
Possess strong knowledge of database security controls, including access control, auditing, and configuration best practices
Domain knowledge in cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, testing, risk, risk mitigation and threat response
Experience implementing security solutions.
Strong collaboration with other architects in cross-platform architecture design.
Responsible for the development of Architecture Policy creation, principles, guidelines, and directives.
Responsible for providing input and guidance into the Architecture and Roadmap.
Accountable to define NFRs to ensure platform performance, maintainability, and scalability based on agreed standards

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Typically requires a master’s degree and +12 years of related experience
Has extensive experience in IT Architecture and business model creation
Conversant with Cloud and microservices architecture.
UI Frameworks (is a plus) .
Detail oriented towards technical design.
Should have hands on experience in building architecture models in EA tool like iServer and have awareness of architecture notation via Archimate/Visio.
Must be passionate about creating architecture design models and documentation
Awareness of TOGAF 9.1/9.2 framework is good to have.
10+ years of experience in Architecture designs and IT security implementation associate to Professional service area in FinancialForce, Conga Apttus CPQ, SFDC Sales Cloud (Professional Service for software), Appian (Business Process Management), OpenText (Document management and template generation system).
Application architecture knowledge around the above listed technology is desired to haves
Degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology or equivalent experience
Solid business process understanding around professional services, service management areas
Strong analytical skills to define high level solution architectures based on business roadmaps and requirements
Demonstrate Sr. Stakeholder management and ability to present architecture content to Executive Management
Abstract thinker with a helicopter view, who can find an appropriate solution to complex problems.
Strong communicator and a good listener
Must be result driven and ability to stay focused in a complex and demanding environment.
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures and will supervise the activities of others.
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups. Must be a good team player.
Able to assess E2E solution and collaborate with other platform. Should be long term solution driven.
Capable of leading a virtual team within a specific domain across various groups in the organization.
Knowledge of business models/processes as well as knowledge of the newest IT technology trends.
Awareness of Architecture positioning in SAFe and DevSecOps framework.
