Job Description
Position Summary:
To build and deploy end to end IT solutions for business and markets, involving configuring and integrating standard applications with minimum customization or software development. Is a counterpart of the Architects and works together with the IT Tech Leads / Business Analysts, Product Owner and third parties (Vendor) in the scrum teams to develop, guide/help and oversee/implement IT solutions. An individual who is an expert in detailed technical design, compliance and quality assurance. Recognized SME in related technologies and domains, has clear understanding of future technology trends. Capable of driving improvements across standards, guidelines & process.
Position Description:
Determinative in setting solution directions to finalize decisions, in order to achieve organization goals in creative and effective ways.
Leading in solution design on program level based on enterprise architecture
Collaboration: Regularly interacts with executives and/or customers. Interactions frequently involve negotiations and/or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding IT platforms.
Accountable that technical solution design meets platform architecture guidelines. Provide feedback to architecture community on architecture and design.
Accountable that deliverables meet requirements w.r.t. reliability, availability, performance, and security & compliance.
Approves the content of the release prior to UAT and manages interrelation aspects with other applications.
Supports development team in performing build automation and configuration management.
Supports the Delivery Manager in timely provision of technical environments.
Supports Business Analyst, Project Manager and Delivery Manager on managing, tracking, and forecasting of solution development.
Provide guidance to development team in performing configuration management, build automation and continuous integration.
Supports the Delivery / Service manager in DevOps.
Supports Delivery Manager & IT BP during the pre LPC phase in evaluating the solution feasibility and high-level estimation.
Supports the Delivery Manager in validating estimations provided by partners, and timely provision of technical environments.
Coaches technical leads and developers.
Provides escalation support to the partners for complex issues.
Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence.
Contributes to overall scrum team goals and objectives.
Responsible to validate test strategy and plan, test cases, automation, regression and test execution.
Responsible for Software Quality, Compliance & Regulatory aspects of the solution.
Ensure seamless business operations support (third line) when needed.
Position Requirements:
Masters SFDC application area and the integration aspects with other platforms, including solid understanding of architecture
Excellent understanding of CPQ, CLM, Quote to Order process and order Integration
5+ years’ experience working on Apttus, atleast two full cycle project implementations in Apttus, required.
15+ years of IT experience, including Agile.
10+ years of minimum experience in SFDC (Salesforce) required.
Experienced with coaching technical leads and developers, including estimating software development in Agile
Experiencing in leading and driving end to end solution architecture design on the enterprise architecture
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others.
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
Travel: Up to 25% global travel may be needed
