contribute directly to the transformation of the Mobile CoE. This as part of the overall transformation of Philips into a digital and integrated company.
We are looking for an energized professional with a right focus for Professional Customers, strong acumen on Digital Marketing & eCommerce and experience in working with international multidisciplinary digital teams in Scaled Agile environments. You have experience in leading complex programs, delivered via several integration partners. You are highly oriented on delivering results quickly, effectively, and with first-time-right focus on quality.
You are a part of
a special team created within Digital IT to accelerate the technical redesign and implementation of the Philips mobile common components and create mobile platform for the business to integrate and go live to market fast.
You will be responsible for:
Developing design pattern and reusable components for Mobile Platform
Able to develop and architect multiple Android and iOS applications across versions
Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions and specifications
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Build to web and mobile development best practices
Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
Proficiency of the full mobile development life cycle
Proven track record designing, building and releasing new products from conception to production
Translates product feature requirements into high performance, scalable software solutions
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android
Proficient with Swift and Cocoa pod
Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines
Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs and continuous integration
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, Bitbucket
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Proficient with React-Native
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
We are looking for:
An energized and highly motivated Solution Architect (hands on) who has a strong background in the following:
Experience with
Hybrid Mobile developer
Designing, developing, and implementing Android and iOS applications
Leading a team in developing iOS and/or Android apps required for international clients
Large Global Site experience
Strong CI/CD / DevOps background
Possess a deep technical knowledge of client side UI/UX development across multiple platforms and form factors (Phone, Tablet, etc)
Java, Objective-C, Javascript, CSS
Minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, IT management or a related discipline with IT focus.
> 5 years of relevant experience in Solution Architecture with strong preference of relevant experience in the mobile.
Relevant experience with Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks, DevSecOps methodologies, Lean principles & continuous improvement mindset.
Deep hands-on knowledge of mobile specific tools, best practices and challenges
Understanding of security, risk, and compliance management processes in the context of IT solutions delivery.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must maintain sufficient business and technical expertise to be comfortable communicating business and technical requirements with a wide audience.
Strong analytical/problem-solving experience to deal with complex business problems. This includes risk definition, establishing quality control, and implementation of end-to-end solutions.
Self-driven, motivated, and able to independently lead towards results.
