HR Operations and Accounting Manager

We have an immediate opportunity for HR Operations and Accounting Manager for the IT consulting division to manage a full range of HR & accounting activities.
Responsibilities
HR Manager (Admin, Operations and Accounting) Officer responsibilities include processing employee data, updating company policies and assisting in the hiring process. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR functions and bookkeeping for US IT Consulting companies.
Ultimately, you will make sure all HR and Operations run smoothly.
Key Accountabilities:
Liaison between recruiting manager, sales manager, legal and HR manager on various aspects of employee onboarding and benefit management.
Perform all employee onboarding tasks
Employee relationship management includes calling, continuous contact, issues resolution on various aspects
Conduct events for the company with coordination of events, managing the event and other.
The specialist serves as the initial company ambassador providing interface with candidates requiring immigration support ensuring that all documentation is procured and reviewed in a timely manner
Communication with immigration attorneys, Bankers, insurance agents and other vendors
Communicates with global HR partners for all US visa activity and requests
Updates and reviews tracking system for visa expirations and renewal/extension activity
Ensures visa supported Associates have requisite original approvals
Maintains current documentation status on all candidates for compliance purposes
Maintains summary reports of all visa activity and audit files
Reviews invoices against visa activity
Creates process improvements to increase candidate independence and visibility into visa status
Assist in recruiting when needed
Support HR in payroll related tasks such as timesheet related tasks, approvals, validating etc.
Gather payroll data for payroll department
Support in accounts receivable collection tasks calling upon customers for payments
Engages with HR special projects
Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and timesheets, expenses, bills and receipts
Manage and maintain vendor and customer contracts
Update internal databases with new hire information
Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
Publish and remove job ads
Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
Closing books on time (monthly and yearly) according to US accounting policies
Work and manage team members for HR and accounting functions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5+ years of proven success in the HR admin and US accounting with progressive responsibility.
Preferences for a successful track record serving IT consulting services or Service selling experience.
You must possess superior communication & written skills and an ability to execute on multiple priorities with attention to details.
Experience in MS office
Experience in QB (accounting and closing books) a plus
Location: India, (Chennai Preferable), Remote
Work hours: 5 pm IST to 1 am IST and willing to work off hours
