What You’ll Do
The IT Systems Engineer will provide world class support to the employees of Provenir striving to meet the highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
This is a remote role.
Handle questions, process incident tickets, diagnose issues and resolve technical issues based on published SLAs
Demonstrate, document, and teach new IT/Corporate technologies and procedures
Maintain corporate networks, both in corporate offices as well as public cloud providers
Maintain VPN Solutions and endpoint protection software
Administer Productivity and Collaboration Tools including Slack, Zoom, Jira/Confluence, SSO and
Google Workspace, AZURE Active Directory
Perform desktop and cloud-based security functions including security scans, managing backup/restores, and remediating security vulnerabilities
Own the new hire IT systems onboarding process coordinating with HR/ /Hiring Manager
Track and escalate issues through the appropriate channels
Effectively communicate information with team members and employees
Proactively identify ways to avoid recurrence of issues by improving processes and recommending changes
Create content for KB articles, training, and company-wide communications
Perform inventory/corporate asset management functions
Maintain equipment loaner inventory to maximize employee productivity
Qualifications, Strengths and Skills
Experience-Associates Degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent technical certifications
Education-3+ years providing customer support for desktop computer software and hardware
Expert ability to analyze and trouble shoot computer, network, and application issues
Expert knowledge of: Windows/MacOS, Microsoft Office, Client VPNs, Smartphones & Tablets, Microsoft
Active Directory and Dell/Apple hardware repair
Expert knowledge of: AV/Security software and corporate backup/restore systems
Strong knowledge of: Corporate LAN/Wi-Fi Networks, Video Conferencing and Managed Print Services
Strong network administration skills, both on corporate and cloud platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (must have the ability to build and maintain
relationships at all levels)
Exceptional customer service/client facing skills
Excellent follow-up and follow through skills
